How long is an online session?
Most sessions are 45 min duration unless otherwise organised.
What is the structure of each session?
Each session we will cover a specific topic that relates to your academic performance, these include optimising your study environment, motivation, creating an optimal learning state at home and school, focus and concentration, effective study skills, self belief, effective time management and positive habit creation.
This process is sequential - each skill builds on the next and we don’t move on until you have each at mastery level. The result is an extensive repertoire of habits, mindset and skills to optimise your academic performance.
What is the cost?
Each 45 min session is $150 (AUD).
Do I get any follow up resources?
Yes, I always send at least one follow up resource or link that pertains to the skills or concepts we have discussed in the session. This helps you to consolidate and apply the content we have modelled.
What if I cancel an appointment?
All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance except in extenuating circumstances.
Can parents do online sessions?
Yes, parents are very welcome to a book session and/or join in with the session that a student is doing.
Can I do the session with friends?
Normally it is a better option to do the session on your own or with a parent. Many of the questions I’ll be asking are going to be specific to you, as are your responses. If you have a friend who you regularly study with I’m happy to talk about a joint session/s.
Should I take notes during the session?
There is no need to take notes during the session, this tends to impact focus and concentration. I will send a recording of each session on request.
I don’t really know where to start with my study or motivation.

Our first session will be spent clarifying your goals (and the factors that are helping and hindering). By the end of the session you’ll have a clear vision for where you want to be and a ‘road map’ for achieving your academic goals.
